Cargoes, Eyelet & A Bob
I often talk about how much I love the amazing Stylists who do my hair at Argyle Salon - Amanda & Jeremy.
BTW is Hair Stylist the proper term now? Hair Cutter seems like of harsh and when I used Hair Dresser recently I was told it was old fashioned.
Anyway, I love them because besides the fact they do amazing work, they totally roll with my ever changing moods. With the exception of when I was growing my hair out for Locks Of Love, I do not think I ever came into the salon and said, 'just a trim'. And by the way? I could not have grown my hair out that long without Amanda's encouragement. 10 inches is a lot of length! Worthy cause for sure, but how many donations do you need to spend nearly a year on?
This was especially hard on me because I like to change my hair a lot. Go darker for Winter? Ok. Bored of that and want blonde highlights? Sounds good. Want to lob it? Very trendy. Layers? Ok. Get rid of those layers? Sure thing.
In fact the only thing I get push back on is bangs. Because Amanda has been down that road with me many, many times and it never works. I am never happy. I know this too. My brain is aware that I am not meant for fringe and yet when I see a picture of Zooey Deschanel or Anna Karina I still feel compelled to rip it out of the magazine so I can bring it in to Amanda and say, "what do you think?"
Anyway my hair is now shoulder length and lighter. Very happy with the color. May want to go a little lighter (I am just in that mood). Not sure about the length. Do I want to bob it again? Should I let it grow for a while? I need some follicle inspiration.
Oh the outfit? All oldies but goodies. Both the Zara cargo pants and the H&M cami are gifts that keeps on giving.
